PLEDGE

It's my pleasure to write a post about 5 amazing guys that I've had to the honor of meeting. Muqbil, Ilyas, Brian, Mohammed and Duale have been working year round to put together an organization and clothing line known as Pledge and Pledge Mere (respectively).

Blake Mycoskie travelled to Argentina in 2006 and

noticed that the children there didn't have shoes. A year later, and as a result of his amazing cause, 10,000 pairs of TOMS were given to children in need.

TOMS is a shoe company that matches each pair of shoes bought by a customer with one that is given to children worldwide in need of a pair. They come in so many different colors, both plain and patterned.

 

I recently bought a pair for myself and it feels so nice to know that my purchase is also beneficial to a child somewhere in the world.
